Dear visitor,

Some time ago, I was cleaning — or should I say attempting to clean — my photo files, and I came accross a number of pictures of Paris, stacked here and there. I live in Paris (in Issy les Moulineaux, on the south west border of Paris to be precise), so quite often when I'm in town and have my camera around, I take a couple of snapshots. Just like that, no project, no big idea, just the pleasure of releasing the shutter, of seeing "how Paris looks like when photographed".

Seeing these shots that I never really sorted, or printed, maybe not even looked at, I felt it would be nice to do something with them. So this is it : pictures of Paris, on a photo blog I'll keep feeding with a mix of shot taken some time ago that I dig out of my hard drive, and of fresher stuff. It could last a couple of weeks, months, years… don't know 'til I stop.

Ah, yes, you should not be scared by clichés, Ameliepoulinesque atmosphere, and two hundred ways to photograph the Eiffel tower…
